My was filled with misery and struggles. As a child, I never really had a stable life. My parents were constantly quarreling, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a teenager. I was required to bounce around between different family members’ houses, never really feeling like I belonged.
Despite all of the challenges I faced, I always found comfort in video games. They provided me with an means of escape from the disorder of my real life and allowed me to get lost in fantasy worlds. I spent countless hours playing games, improving my skills as time went on.
Then, one particular day, something occurred altered my life permanently. I was engaging in a game online with a handful of friends when I was suddenly separated from the server. At first, I speculated it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been cut off due to an outstanding bill that my mom and dad had neglected to pay.
I was crushed. How was I going to be able to figure out how to play my favorite games without internet? But, rather than wallow in self-pity, I made the decision to take matters into my own hands. I started saving up my allowance and doing side hustles for neighbors in order to pay for my own internet service. It wasn’t easy, but eventually, I was able to get back online and resume playing the games that I loved.
As I continued to develop my skills and discover new games, I realized that I had a genuine passion for video gaming. I decided to start a blog to share my experiences and insights with others who were also passionate about gaming. It was a minuscule operation at first, but as I gained more followers, my blog took off.
Now, I’m a full-time and blogger, sharing of video games with the world. It’s not always easy, but it’s a passion that keeps me going, and I couldn’t be happier.
